We are thrilled to be seeing our patients again! Please read our new Safety Protocols to familiarize yourself with what we are doing to keep everyone safe.
For the health and safety for our patients, team members, and community, we have set protocols that are required by the CDC, ADA, and OSHA.
Screening:
We screen every patient (twice) and team members for symptoms and elevated temperature when they come to our office. If we feel there is a cause for concern, we ask them to return when it is safe to return.
Appointments: We are limiting number of patients we see and respecting the Social Distancing 6 ft. rule in reception area
We are trying to limit use of our reception room for now. Only 1 patient will be allowed in the office at a time, unless the second patient is a parent. Our reception area will no longer offer magazines, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. Please bear with us on that.
Additional measures taken over and above our rigorous Infection Control Protocol to keep everyone safe in the COVID era:
Air Purifiers in Reception area and each operatory to purify air.
Disinfection of doorknobs and commonly touched surfaces and reception area with sterilization wipes/spray after each patient leaves:
Our team wipes down everything with sterilizing agents that have been in contact with a patient and employees.
Cold Fogging with Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL):
- As used by firefighters and paramedics to clean ambulances, hospitals, hotels, airplanes, as well as fruit & vegetables
- Laboratories have proven that HOCL eliminates 99.99 % of viruses.
- 40x more effective than “Bleach” and is nontoxic
Fogging daily to clean air and surfaces – beginning of day, lunchtime and end of day
Used after each patient in the treatment room
Pre-treatment antiseptic mouth rinses will be used for all appointments
Hand Sanitizing/ Hand-washing before and after each procedure.
Strict Protocol for Disinfection of all rooms and Sterilization of instruments:
We have always insured our patient’s safety by following CDC/OSHA/ADA approved guidelines for disinfection of all rooms and work surfaces. All instruments are sterilized in an autoclave to ensure your safety.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We will be wearing extra and enhanced PPE when interacting with patients including Level 3 and KN95 or N95 masks, scrubs, clinic gowns, hair coverings, safety glasses, and face shields. Our team is highly trained with Universal Precautions and preventing cross contamination.
Sneeze Guards have been placed for protection of patients and staff.
Office Visits:
You must wear a mask or face covering to all of your appointments.
When you come to the office for your appointment, please remain in the car. Call us to let us know you are here. Check in Screening will be completed and you will be allowed to come in the office when it is safe for you to come in. We will ask you to sanitize your hands once inside the office and your temperature will be checked.
We love our patients and miss the extra time we used to spend connecting with each of you. We apologize that we cannot do that too much right now due to the extra time needed to sanitize after each patient leaves and be ready for the next patient on a timely basis. We look forward to things going to back to normal soon.
Our patients’ and team’s health and safety are very important to us and it our number one priority. We have invested a lot of time in training and buying supplies to provide a safe environment for all.
Thank you for choosing our office and allowing us to take care of you!
